Chemical SkidChemical Pump Skids: A Reliable Solution for Precise Chemical Dosing

When it comes to chemical dosing, precision, safety, and durability are non-negotiable. At Avanti, we have developed a line of Chemical Pump Skids that embody these principles, combining robust engineering with user-focused design. Built with the highest quality components from Griffco Valve and Spears, our skids are trusted across industries to deliver consistent performance and peace of mind.

Built for Durability and Performance

At the core of every Avanti Chemical Pump Skid is its marine-grade HDPE frame. Unlike polypropylene (PP), HDPE offers superior impact resistance and greater resistance to strong acids and oxidizing agents. This makes our skids more than capable of handling demanding environments where reliability is critical. Whether you are operating in municipal water treatment, industrial water systems, or chemical processing plants, you can depend on the strength and stability of our construction.

The welded HDPE design ensures long-lasting performance without the weaknesses often found in bolted or mechanically fastened systems. Customers benefit from reduced downtime, fewer maintenance requirements, and greater confidence that the skid will continue to perform under challenging conditions.

Smarter Design, Easier Maintenance

One of the hallmarks of our skids is their sloped drip tray with a ¾-inch NPT drain port. This design choice may seem small, but it makes a major difference in day-to-day operations. By preventing liquid pooling and enabling efficient drainage, the drip tray minimizes the risk of chemical buildup, reduces cleanup time, and contributes to a safer workplace. The drain port also allows for easy connection to remote collection or disposal systems, supporting compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Compact pipe routing further distinguishes our design. By reducing skid height, we make it possible to mount the skid directly on a wall. This frees up valuable floor space for other equipment or storage, while ensuring clear access for drip tray drainage. Additionally, the positioning of the suction inlet above most storage tanks eliminates low points where precipitates can collect, simplifying system flushing and ensuring complete drainage.

Flexibility to Meet Your Needs

Every facility is unique, which is why flexibility is at the heart of our Chemical Pump Skids. Our systems are designed to accommodate multiple pump types and brands — with the Stenner S50 shown as one option. This adaptability ensures that you are not locked into a single configuration but instead can tailor the skid to match your preferred equipment and operational requirements.

We also understand that chemical dosing systems often need to integrate into existing setups. That’s why our skids offer left and right-side suction and drain connections, along with left and right-side pressure relief discharges. Optional chemical discharge outlets can also be configured for either side. This versatility streamlines installation and reduces the need for costly modifications on site.

Enhanced System Options

To further enhance performance and reliability, Avanti Chemical Pump Skids can be equipped with additional features. Options include a junction box for simplified electrical connections, a Y-strainer to protect pumps from debris, and a pulsation dampener to improve flow consistency. For applications where redundancy is critical, systems can also be specified with valves and gauges that provide backup functionality, minimizing risk in mission-critical processes. Jake roughing out the components of a chemical skid

Materials and Specifications You Can Trust

The materials we use are carefully selected to meet the rigors of chemical handling. Piping options include PVC, CPVC, PVDF, and polypropylene, giving customers the flexibility to match materials to the specific chemicals in use. Valves are matched to the piping material and are available with EPDM or Viton elastomers to ensure chemical compatibility. Calibration columns are typically supplied in 200 mL capacity, with other capacities available on request, and are also available with EPDM or Viton components.

Our skid frames are available in either ½-inch or ¾-inch marine-grade HDPE, depending on the application’s structural requirements. These options ensure that customers receive a system that is not only chemically compatible but also structurally optimized for long-term operation.

Applications Across Industries

Avanti Chemical Pump Skids are designed to serve a wide range of industries where chemical dosing plays a critical role. In municipal water treatment, they provide accurate dosing of disinfectants and additives, ensuring safe, clean water for communities. In industrial water treatment, they help maintain equipment performance, control scaling and corrosion, and optimize water use efficiency. In chemical processing, they deliver precise metering of reagents, catalysts, and other process chemicals, helping manufacturers maintain quality, safety, and throughput.

No matter what the application, customers can rely on our skids to integrate seamlessly into their operations while providing the safety and reliability that are essential in chemical handling.
